Shopping centre of Hoog Catharijne, located between the new train station and the old city centre is the one of the most frequently visited shopping centre in Netherlands with more than 26 milion visitors a year.

Hoog Catharijne was newly refurbished, expanded and redesigned to bring a new shopping experience over past several years. Part of refurbishment was complete redesigning the layout, design, shopfront concept and adjustments to meet environmental requirements and standards confirmed by BREEAM certificate. Hoog Catharijne shopping center won NRW 2019year price for the best retail project in Netherlands.
